Terms and refunds

These terms apply to the Pawse Chrome extension and Pawse Pro. By installing Pawse or buying Pro, you agree to them. They are short on purpose.

What Pawse is

Pawse is a website blocker that adds friction between you and the sites you choose to block. It is a self-help tool, not a security or parental-control product: anyone with access to the browser can disable or remove it. It works in Chrome and other Chromium browsers on desktop.

Free and Pro

Pawse is free to use with some limits. Pawse Pro unlocks all features and is available as a monthly or yearly subscription, and sometimes as a one-time lifetime purchase. Prices are shown in the extension and on this website; sales tax or VAT is added at checkout where it applies.

One Pro license works in up to 5 browsers of the same person. Please don't share or resell license keys.

Payments

Purchases are processed by Stripe, which acts as the reseller (merchant of record). Stripe's consumer terms apply to the payment itself, and your receipt comes from Stripe.

Subscriptions and cancelling

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each period until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the extension (Settings → Pro & license → Manage subscription). You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for, and you won't be charged again.

Refunds

Not happy? Email info@getpawse.io within 14 days of a purchase or renewal and we'll refund it in full, no questions asked. Include your license key (it starts with PAWS-) or the email address you paid with. Your Pro features stop once the refund is processed. After 14 days, payments are not refundable, except where the law says otherwise.

Lifetime

A lifetime license gives you Pro for as long as Pawse is offered, without further payments. If we ever stop offering Pawse, the extension and its Pro features keep working in your browser as they are.

Changes and availability

We keep improving Pawse, so features may change. We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. If a change matters for paying customers, we'll say so in the extension or by email.

No warranty

Pawse is provided "as is". We do our best to make it reliable, but we can't promise it will block every page or never have bugs. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for Pro in the last 12 months. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer law.
